Dramatic vintage/old hollywood style gowns?

Thinking about taking my dress choice in a whole new direction for my winter wedding. My amazing photographer also happens to be one of my best friends and when we started talking about the birdcage style veil that I wanted, she decided she wanted to do Old Hollywood theme black and white bridal portraits. I absolutely LOVE this idea, so I'm re-thinking the dress I had wanted to get. Any ideas for beautiful dresses/styles that would go with the dramatic vintage Old Hollywood feel?

I would go for something classic, sheath fit, something that possible would of been worn in that time
